So you know what you are getting we have introduced an easy way of valuing and rating each property based on the weekly rental value of the property. Simply estimate the rental value of a one week stay in your property, either by season (high, medium, low, etc) or a standard yearly rate.
The system makes it easy to exchange on a like for like basis or even earn some additional income with our Rental Option and Differential Exchange.

The owner who makes the exchange request is referred to as the “Guest”.
The owner who accepts the exchange is referred to as the “Host”.
POINTS ALLOCATION
Each property is allocated a bank of points based on the average Weekly Rental Value (WRV) multiplied by 3 (1 point per £1).
Please enter your Weekly Rental Value (one week per season for however many seasons your property has) when you register. The website will automatically calculate your Weekly Rental Value and allocate your starting bank of points for exchanging.
Members gain additional points by having Guests stay in their properties.
THREE EXCHANGE OPTIONS
Straight Exchange:
This is when 2 owners agree to exchange on an equal basis.
Differential Exchange:
The owner with the higher WRV requests points and/or rent to bridge the difference. For example;
Owner A with a WRV of 1,000 points exchanges with Owner B with a WRV of 1,500 points.
The Result = Owner A (the Guest) owes Owner B 500 points ( which can be made up of a mixture of points and/or rent). Owner B (the Host) decides what is an acceptable mix.
Rental Option:
With this option there is no need to exchange as the Host simply accepts an amount of rent and/or points to cover the WRV.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Select Exchange recommends that part rent should be paid for Rental Option.
2. The Host decides the acceptable amount of points and rent acceptable for exchange.
